Our Story

Wild Gold: Real Skincare from Real Humans

This isn’t a brand that started in a boardroom.
It started with dry skin, cracked hands, and a bunch of kids who needed something that actually worked.

Back in 2020, two families—Alex and Jamie’s—ditched the concrete and chaos for the slow-living hills of Asheville, NC. They weren’t chasing a trend. They were returning to what felt right: raising animals with respect, growing their own food, and getting their hands dirty in the name of health.

Jamie started milking his own cow. Alex started raising his own food. And when their wives couldn’t find a single skincare product that didn’t have a paragraph of unpronounceable ingredients, they said, “Screw it. Let’s make our own.”

Enter Rachel. Local mom. Kitchen alchemist. Community healer. She’d been making tallow balms for years—and knew firsthand that when you combine grass-fed tallow with 6-hour colostrum, you get something magical. Something skin recognizes. Something that works.

So we teamed up. Three families. One mission:
Create a no-BS, powerfully simple balm that feeds the skin like food.
No fillers. No fragrance. No fluff. Just grass-fed tallow, emu oil, and the rarest colostrum on the planet.

What We Believe:

  • Simplicity is sacred. Our ingredients are real. If your great-grandma wouldn’t recognize it, it’s not in the jar.

  • Nature doesn’t need a lab coat. We don’t formulate. We listen.

  • Your skin knows what to do. We just give it the nutrients it’s been missing.

  • Handmade matters. Every batch is poured, labeled, and packed by real people with real skin.

Wild Gold is what happens when ancestral wisdom meets modern grit. When you stop outsourcing your wellness to strangers in lab coats. When you say: “What if we already had everything we needed?”

We didn’t invent skincare. We remembered it.
Welcome to Wild Gold.
